Children invited to visit Santa at the Darby Building! |
MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (Dec. 16, 2009) - Children ages 6 and under and their families are invited to the Old Village on Friday, Dec. 18 to enjoy the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department’s annual Visit with Santa event.
The fun will begin at 12 p.m. at the G.M. Darby Building, located at 302 Pitt Street in the Old Village neighborhood of Mount Pleasant. Children will enjoy Christmas music, games, crafts, face painting and, of course, a visit with Santa himself. A photo will be provided, as well as free snacks for children. This event is free of charge.
In addition to its special events such as Visit with Santa, the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department is also offering a variety of holiday classes, camps and programs this month. Camps and classes are offered at various MPRD locations, for various age groups and catering to a variety of interests, from art to sports.
